Since 2001, Bay High School has had the privilege of Mrs. Grabo working here as an English teacher. Mrs. Grabo has become beloved by students at Bay High. Over her years, Mrs. Grabo has taught every subject in the English department except for Journalism and Creative Writing. She even coached boys and girls tennis for a while. While Mrs. Grabo loves to teach at Bay High, she has decided to retire at the end of this school year. “I think the timing was good. I turned 60 this year, so I was eligible to retire and it is time for other adventures,” said Mrs. Grabo. “I plan to join the Cleveland Hiking Club, volunteer at Fairview Hospital, and travel after I retire. What I will miss most about teaching is the day-to-day engagement and working with students.” Even though Mrs. Grabo is retiring, she will return as a substitute teacher next year when she is needed.
Thank you Mrs. Grabo for the time and dedication you have spent here at Bay High School.
