There is high demand to live in Bay Village, Ohio. Because of this, Mayor Paul Koomar and the Liberty Development Company have decided to turn an empty abandoned lot on Wolf Rd property into townhouses. After sitting vacant for the last 10 years, the area of a former gas station along Wolf Road across from Cahoon Park is currently being considered. Liberty Development Company Vice President Dru Siley said the proposal includes the construction of 13 townhomes, five three-story units facing Wolf Road and eight two-story units along Cahoon Creek.
Pricing hasn’t been determined, but the neighborhood will have a Wolf Road entrance and include parking for more than a dozen guests. With help from the community of Bay and pre development meetings, the mayor hopes to have ideas finalized by the summer of 2018. Koomar said, “We are very excited for this type of development to occur in Bay Village. At the meeting, the overall feedback was very positive.”
